Besides lag, there's one thing I've been seeing lately that seems like it might be a cheat. Or it could be the case of the server not reporting events correctly.

About half a dozen times, I've seen a report of an enemy pilot bombing one of our hangars, and immediately he spawns back at his own airfield. There's no notice of his having crashed or killed himself, or leaving and re-entering the game. Have any of you seen this recently?

I haven't seen it often enough to associate it with any particular pilots, though I think I'll start recording the pilot names and dates/times of games to pass on to Slenderman and Zup.

Sometimes when I have a unstable connection, everything may seem normal, but I cannot see the others for some seconds. Then after some time everything's back.

I use to use the chat function to test it. If I'm semi-disconnected like that, my test messages (usually "cn" for "connection?") won't appear on the screen.

Also, if I bomb carriers or hangars or shoot at the zep when this happens, it may seem I'm successful,but it's not real. The points aren't counted and the hangars reappear when the connection is reestablished.

The worst thing is that I may have been shot at by planes invisible to me, so that when I reappear in the game I may discover that I'm in flames and going down.

flying in spins seems to help with speed when you are carrying a bomb

I have noticed the speedometer go from 120 to 130 when doing moderate spins and 140 when hard spinning.


Ive also noticed a jump in speed when flying without bomb but its only about 5-10 at the most

I wonder if this is due to angular momentum

You should get a big boost with no bomb, since the plane doesnt have to carry the weight. Remember, these planes had engines less powerful than you find in a sedan.

I do, without bomb, but Im comparing it to flying while spinning vs linear flying

Wait, does anyone actually use 3rd person for fighting? Seems much harder.

I alwase fly in 3rd person until i need to aim. I flip back and forth in a lot. In 3rd person you can see what your plane is doing when your look around so in a fight if i go in 3rd person i can look around and see everyone around me and then i will switch back to 1st to shoot then back to 3rd to look around and know where i am flying.

Hey Stuart !

I play on 3G network when I'm at work it's junk compared to wifi I get exact same symptoms you are describing but it has ended up being an advantage as well !

All I can say after 7 months of playing almost every day is 3G will make you lag no matter how good the signal , I get the planes jumping around and sometimes up to 10 sec delay when I shoot someone down also I lose the game and have to fly around for a bit till it reconnects.

Try different wifi sources and see how you go I reckon you are getting same 3G woes as me.

U can calvin thats what I do, and I also flash 3rd person in chasing to see if their plane is their. Just for like 1/4 of a sec.

Yeah, it does seem a bit more sensitive.

I do the same thing as sky fly in 3rd person then when I see some red go into 1st and flash 3rd person in a dogfight. If I dont I qill lose that dogfight, thats.how much I rely on it.
