Just wanted to share this with everyone in case you haven't read it, wise words from a wise gentlemen.

T you are just one of many good friends I call friend here and thank you for the kind words. I don't expect others to share my thoughts on how to play this game but can add the following.

We are lucky to find 1 out of 10 games that are lag free, moron free and most definately free of those who choose to ruin a game. In the past it was a point I made to write down each persons name and look for them in the hopes of some retribution only to find that I had more damn tablets full of names and sticky notes lying around than actual time to find them all. My wife looked at me and the mess and would always ask, what are all those names for?

Good question, as there were so many and my tiny brain couldn't recount each offense by each name. I had become consumed by this thinking so much that it even spilled over into our thread and onto the open forum creating so much discontent that the days of our lives began taking its story lines from all of those caught up in our messes here.

Basically, in my opinion, you have to ask yourself, am I having fun playing or would I rather bicker? I truly avoid many topics now on the forum, except for the random few that grab my attention as it is esy for one to get caught up into the negative side of things and lose track of whom you were when you began playing this game.

Many scar covered wounds later, I still find on occasion one whom was affected by that behavior, mostly unable to let go of the past incursions and still looking to open those old wounds.

I play each game to the best of my ability, win or lose I play to have fun. I like most want to win, but know you can't win them all. When the game is over, I start the next one with no anomosity and begin again knowing that the quit button is sometimes a better course of action than playing with some who will go out of the way to piss you off.

Whenever I get accused of dropping I go ballistic.

I (and many of us I’m sure) get shot down often while carrying bombs.
My weakness is the head-on encounter. With my middle aged eyes and an iphone5, I can’t see planes that are in the distance. I have to just “spray and pray” towards the oncoming tracers and hope I get 4 hits before Red does. So I get shot down a lot this way.
My best tactic (usually results in me getting shot down when against good players) is to try and dodge the incoming fire and force a turn fight. Many players interpret this as the move of a dropper.

So I think I figured out. Last night in a btc game that was waaaaay past my bedtime (part of my problem lol), I was approaching the red’s ship. A fellow Misfit on the red team (darnit) was employing a tactic that I like to use to prevent enemies (usually droppers) from lingering over the shoreline in hopes of tanking by the ship. He was circling over the shore and would only shoot planes over water. I love this. I wish more of my teammates would defend their ship this way.
Anyway, I knew that I was a goner if I flew directly to the ship so I stayed over land and engaged my red Brother. A couple of turns into the fight and I see “May is a dropper” (I was flying with the name [M]ayhem). It is understandable to assume that - given my flight pattern. But I was tired and went into a rant about how I don’t drop. I did not address it to anyone. I just made a statement on how sick and tired I was of getting accused. Because I was in a dogfight and could only look up briefly I honestly do not remember who sent the accusing message.
My brother Misfit immediately started saying “not you”. As rants go, I wanted to say 2 or 3 more things about dropping, so I said them. After each message, he got more and more irritated and defensive.
I was not looking to argue, especially with a brother Misfit, but he left abruptly before I could smooth things over.

I apologize to the Misfits and any DF players that I jump on when I get accused. I know it is just a game and I need to adjust my attitude accordingly.



BTW: Even though it is supposed to be a RELAXING fun game, in the story above I almost made it to the carrier (2 more seconds) before I got shot down. My heart was beating out my shirt. What a great adrenaline rush!

Finally, I found you!! Someone who watch cricket!! Aussies are no more a unbeatable team(Sorry cc,punk and sky , that's the truth). This Ashes series proves it again. Aussies were best during Gilchrist-Hayden era. I still love that team.

I want to apologize to this squadron. I want to apologize to the officers who decided that I would make a good officer. I have not been one at all.

The Comet is not much different than Steve. Comet's just a bit braver when he talks because he thinks nobody can touch him if he spouts off.

Steve knows better. Anyone with a good right hook gets called sir whether or not they deserve that title. Steve's a bit more reserved.

When Steve drinks heavily, he's a lot like sober Comet... Ok enough trying to be funny.

I probably only remember as you are the only pilot I have asked and encouraged to join the Misfits Granted, I remember receiving a message off of DF for two other pilots who asked about joining the Misfits, I accidentally left the back door unlocked, allowing Brotherz Bullet and CC Rider to slip in unnoticeably

After taking you under my wing, you three had quickly climbed the ranks and two have become officers. You have all terrorized the skies and left me in the dust, wheeling along with my planes on training wheels I think I know how Al Pacino's character "Lefty" felt in Donnie Brascoe

In the end, Misfit Nation is truly represented by the some of the finest pilots and people in this game. However, if I do not get my MORAF badge, there will be an unleashing of pain on all of you So much dust will be kicked up with the spraying of bullets and bombs that when the dust settles a week later, only my body and plane will be lying there in pieces AHAHAHAHA
