Well I thought about it for a few minutes and realized the two screws that were shown is a high and low. Low is for the idle. Well heck, my unit has an idle adjuster which pushes against the throttle. Then I realized a special tool (pacman) is needed for the high adjuster. I called everywhere to get one to find out it is illegal to sell them to the regular Joe. I found a blue electrical connector in my tool box. I talked it on and with needle nose pliers, I was able to turn the screw...it worked! Screw the EPA and their emissions...

I got one of those damn pieces of junk! It sits in my shed like i am going to fix it someday! Or it may find itself in the truck taking a load of scrap metal to the salvage yard. Toss up right now, but i have nearly got a load of scrap ready.
Speaking of internet experts, i learned how to make a digital television antenna out of coathangers a 2x4 and some screws and wire.
No joke, it really worked! Discovered some new free digital channels i never knew of before.
Just imagine if the game had broken 2 years ago what i might have done!

Nice! Well it works now. I would say try adjusting the cab. I should have tried that first but thought well hey maybe it's the fuel filter blah blah blah. Lol

Is it a Ryobi model c430?

That's the one!

Thanks Monster. So I have been having issues also and what a relief to see it is not just me. You have helped me out a lot with your post. Once I buy a new weed whacker and clear my overgrown lawn maybe I will find where that Ryobi piece of crap landed after I threw it in anger. Well Tbuilt--see I wasnt just goofin. Now for me to show this to Z and say "Ha!!!"

Plenty of coffee in me and do have ink to paper as I'm rounding the corner for the next issue of the story, now to finish and put it to the keyboard and mentally unscramble the chicken scratch.

I saw the words " Hall of Fame" on a thread and clicked on it. Seems MORAF21 or "The Inducted One" started a new Squad. They offer "Combat Training" wonder if that includes how to bomb your own Team Mate when he lands with a captured flag so he can " get some of the action too." Mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmmm

I used the blue plastic wire connector...tapped it on the adjustment screw..which on mine is on the top of the carb...looking down right behind the choke...I had to make a couple turns counter clockwise. I also went clockwise on the idle screw to increase the idle a little....it's hard to turn with the fingers so I inserted one needle of the needle nose pliers into the other end of the wire connector and turned that way

Hi Jay nice to see you buddy, i just wanted to jump in here before you run off and do something with out at least some advice from an old timer who has been there, done that, and has the T shirt to prove it. I know how it is at your age you young wipper snappers running around screwing everthing that will stay still long enough to mount.
Let me just me just say screwing lag isnt one them "Ill try anything once" screws..... Embarrassingly enough i have tried it  and I would be doing you a diservice if i just let you go off with out letting know a few things.
Lag, shes a bitch! Fickle as the day is long and will only tease you and make you think your making the right choice... Dont screw the lag!!!! Im pretty sure most everyone here has and you may catch something!! Not saying i did just saying......

Stick with humpimg couch arms open doors with sturdy handle (a good handle is a must on a door), oh ya, your moms giant exercise ball i hear is great.... way after my time but ive heard.....

Best wishes Buddy!!!!!!

Quick question.

How do you take a pic and add it to your signature at the bottom?

Upload the pic to an image hosting site. I use tinypic.com.
Then copy the link for "forums and message boards" then paste it into your signature box.
If you want, send me a PM and I'll give you my email. You can email me the photo and I'll upload it and give you the link.
