Hey dude! Yep it gets harder! Hooray!!!! Than easier for a bit! Hooray! Then harder.......then easier....etc. We always focus on the now and freak out about how tough it is! And then guess what? We make it through that period of time. We forget that life was rough for a bit (the easy part). And then BOOM oughta no where life happens again! And we are stuck focusing on how hard it is at that moment, (freak out time is here)! Then gradually things get better and we forget once again about how difficult the last time was. Then!........Slowly we learn trick at making those tough times not so tough. They do still come but we weather the storms better each time [right weather[m]an!?] And Dest, my wife really wanted me to drive this home to you. Yes school sucks right now, but if your able to look forward you will see how much your life will benefit from it in the long run! Hang in there brother we got your back!

One thing if nothing that you will learn in the 6 years that separate you and I is yes life gets harder. Gets even worse when you include wife and kids, but damn if it doesn't get more rewarding. The work is worth it. Your time is not being wasted. I say these things knowing what I do and do not have. You will see that the 6 years that separate you and I are probably some of the most important. Stay diligent. It will suck. You learn to embrace that suck. Life is a crazy roller coaster that has barely begun. Enjoy the ride.

I just saw this and thought I might offer some insight. Right now your life seems difficult but right now you are setting the stage for how difficult the rest of your life will be. You can choose work hard now and have it easy later, or you can choose to give up now because its too tough or "dumb" and work harder later, if that makes sense. To say it a different way, the more you invest up front the easier the back end will be.

From someone with experience I am glad I worked hard early on. Yes, it was bad and at times it was just as you described.... dumb this and dumb that, but in the long run it really pays off! I cannot stress that enough.

Oh and one last small quip of wisdom.... it really is what you make of it. Know there is a bright side to every situation. The difficult part, the part that takes real discipline, is to find the bright side and own it..... that is how you find true happiness.

Life is freakin' awesome, (Even the bad times) if you allow it to be and want it to be.

Hey Dest, it's something that will make your character tougher. Preparation for the future young brother. Idiots and weak people don't take tough classes. They don't have the balls. In high school my alternative class was organic chemistry. So all of my over classes were related. Physics, calculus, genetics, trig, all that crap. I finished in top 3rd of my class. I had to earn it. I hated watching others do it so effortlessly.I went to a votech high school. I started college for organic chemistry and pharmacology, but hated it so dropped out and went into military.... After being shot, then addicted to drugs for many years, then having kids , doing prison time, etc.... I got my ads in gear. I went back to school for Network Systems Administration, and finished college w a 3.65g.p.a. I never opened a book. I feel like all the tough classes early on opened a part of my brain that will never close. Just saying..... Everything you do right now determines where will go tomorrow. Don't hang it up. Press forward. A wise man once told me that a MAN will get out of bed and face each days tough decisions no matter how hard he wants to coward and turn his back on them. Sorry for any misspelling.
