I dropped by the acehole to say hello and share some stories with friends but I found the door was locked.

So I guess this is good bye.

Please don't let my status change the relationship between the squad and my sons. They both still consider themselves Misfits.

I will not be coming back to the squad. I have seen too much conflict between the [M] and other squads/players for me to feel like I can stay. Let this is my last "official" word to the Squad.

Please consider carefully what you put out to the rest of the df community. While some of the conflict has been fully justified there is much more that has come from simple misunderstandings which spring from not giving others the benefit of the doubt. I'd like to share this tool I've found useful when reflecting how I may come across to others:

Before speaking-
T.H.I.N.K.

Is it True?
Is it Honest?
Is it Intelligent?
Is it Necessary?
Is it Kind?

If any of these things are missing you may want to reconsider what you say. Otherwise you may create more of what you claim to detest.

Also, be careful about letting the squad get to big. It creates a greater separation between the officers and the rank and file.

I think I will soon be joining another squad with the intention of helping it to become another power house and rival for squad wars once they finally come. I have no ill feelings toward any of you and look forward to seeing everyone again in game. Feel free to PM anything you wish to say, I will respond.

RECKLESS IS CORRECT MY FRIENDS. Maybe I'm stepping over the line here I don't know but I see things happening like feuds between players. The MISFITS are my family and my DOGFIGHT home, I love it here, at the same token I have friends in other squadrons and the tension between squadrons is suffocating this game.

I sincerely hope that all this infighting and bickering can stop, I mean it will never stop completely but for crying out loud bickering over some of this stuff is useless, pointless and a downright waste of time and effort.

It's not a bad thing to report someone on another squad of some derogatory behavior, so what, it's a "he said" she said" thing. Let the squad leaders look into it and then let it go. ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

But I guess only to breach the barrier will not help. When then I should living for a while behind it. I think six months in another country and you can speak this language well. Here in the forum it's no problem to translate a text. And your text I've understood without help. But in game chat it is very hard to understand all. Very often I need to take with my iPad a screenshot of this text and per dropbox upload I'll see it few seconds later on my laptop. There I can translate it with google.
Therefore it takes some times 20-30 seconds until I can answer.

If you really want help me to understand you then try to write simple. It sounds funny but the best way is to talk to me how to a 6yo child. Not too many complicated terms or slang I can't translate too. Or tell me that you want talk to me and we use the squad chat after the game.
Once I was in a btc game. It was before I joined but Darrax already has talked to me to join. A lot of reds spawned suddenly and they came to show me how much they hate my boat. A Misfit started to talk to me while another red one was chasing me. I just noticed that this person wrote a lot to me but I had no idea who it was an what he was talking to me. (I guess it was Darrax but I'm not sure.)
I only was able to write: sry too busy to read.

But nothing changed. A empty plane behind me and a screen full of informations for me. What to do now? Is it a kind of disrespect or arrogant if keep fighting? Once I've met in a us fan forum a very nice girl from Liverpool. But it was very difficult to translate her english. And I thought this british english is really as different how all people say. Later she told me she's dyslexics. We laughed so hard together
She gave me her account password and I've corrected always her spelling errors but she never saw a difference.
I know it isn't right to laugh about it but she was the one who always started to laugh about it.
