Same problem. Intermittent for me. Gives me two seconds of engine noise after I quit just to rub it in. :woohoo:

Same thing happens to my iPad. It was doing it way before any if the resent updates. I think it's an iPad bug not a DF bug. The pad thinks the headphones are plugged in. Buddy of mine says its the headphone jack. Needs replaced. He is a tech nut. He rebuilds phones/computers/iPads and things of that sort. My sound seems to go when my pad gets real warm.

Resetting the pad doesn't work, nothing does. Sometimes it lasts a few days, sometimes a few games, sometimes a few minutes.

I bought a set of Bluetooth head phones. I can't stand to have them on. It works though.

Best thing I found was a Bluetooth speaker. No wires and I still have sound. It's still a pain in the rump.

I play a while with the speaker until my sound returns. I hard reset the pad every time I turn it off.

Android sound seems fine. Not rubbing it in, just a data point.

iOS doesn't have the DF update yet, right? I wonder what changed? iOS update?

My pad is updated with IOS 7 now. It was doing the sound/headphone thing way before.

It's real hit and miss. You never know when it will happen. It does seem to do it when I marathon DF and it gets warm. So far it comes back after a while. I'm waiting for the day it becomes perminant. I will try and replace the headphone jack if it does. The wireless speaker is a temporary fix. I can't stand to play the game with out the machine gun and plane sounds.

Doh! You've been peeking. I already do that. :) I built a iPad headband(hands free) I run around the house with my arms stretched out, making those exact sounds. :)
