I am still having difficukty getting into the game with any of my threee Kindle fire devices. I know that some others were struggling as well... is there any new information? I am going through serious dogfight withdrawals.

Where have you been?

Try uninstalling from device. Reload from cloud.
If no luck, delete from cloud as well and start from scratch.
Hopefully,this will get you back into the skies.

Yep This is RE-Donkulous. I tried re-installs and deletes and reboots within Device and Cloud sections... but no DF on kindle has been successful.
Does Kindle not support this game compatibility any more?

The Kindle Fire and the Kindle Fire HD are different devices and shouldn't be taken into account here.

I've been having problems with DF with my Kindle Fire, ever since the update. The app force closes itself upon opening. I've been playing DF with my phone since then, but I would like to play on a bigger screen.

Im having similiar issues...cant open dogfight on my kjndle fire. Since this is the only device im allowed to get dogfight kn, im DYING

I've just obtained the Fire HD. I keep apps in cloud because of limited memory. Luna is the expert.

Yes, the app does not work at all on the Kindle Fire, and this has been confirmed by multiple sources. I think it was the new update. The app force closes itself before loading up the main menu. Perhaps we should tell Z, I'm concerned that all Kindle Fire players can't open the app anymore.

Does anyone know if the DF app works in the kindle fire hd? If so, I now have the excuse to replace mine. (winning!)

My school puts administrated privileges on the tablets we have, so you can only use a select number of apps.

Hey Airborne hopefulls using Kindle fire device. Has anybody had luck with even being able to play D.F. after last update? I hope so, cause I can't get mine to work at all. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

we are allowede to have any apps as long as long as its not blood and guts, swearing, etc. last i checked dogfight doesnt swear or show blood and guts lol. we just got our ipads today, and im rather excited to explore it further tommorow(: see you all in the skies soonj! i hope lol

The app is STILL force-quitting on me, and I haven't received any feedback from Z. Sent an email, PM, technical complaint on the appstore, but nothing has come up.

I get so much lag on my iPhone (a problem that I've always had), that using it as a substitute isn't satisfactory. I haven't played a single game in weeks where I either lose connection or experience very bad lag.

I'd be okay with this, because I believe this is just a problem with performance capabilities on the phone itself, which is why I usually use my Kindle Fire. But THE APP DOES NOT WORK AT ALL with the Kindle.

This is probably a problem with all Kindle Fire users, as shown on this thread. We're pretty much grounded until this gets fixed.

A fix for the Kindle Fire was released yesterday, it should be on amazon store already (sorry, it took 2 weeks for them to release it :(

The Kindle Fire store takes longer to receive updates as compared to other mobile devices. It usually takes around three days after the update is actually released. I'll be sure to post feedback once I get the update!

You're right. I guess the store automatically updated the game, which is why I couldn't find the update on the store.

It works perfectly now! Two very minor issues:

-The startup picture, the one with the title and the planes shooting each other, it isn't scaled properly to the screen. Sometimes it's real small and shows up in the corner, or in the center. It doesn't take up the whole screen.

-The selections on the main menu keep changing rainbow colors, like a strobe light. Everything works fine, it just looks funny.

Other than that, the game is working like a charm!
