Good day pilots! I wanted to share an idea that I think is critical to a higher level of success for strategic gameplay. This is a war game, but I truly believe that there is a facet of the gameplay that is hindering success and that is the in flight chat between forces.
I love strategy,I love trying different tactics, especially when flying constantly through the V.O.D. Can get monotonous and boring! I love branching off when my team is grouped up in front of me,I love sneaking(don't like the term),but maybe you should have been paying attention!its a real war strategy!,I love dropping so I can escort my bombers safely! I don't camp much but I have been trying it and it's great and was employed in real war so why not! I love using the ground,flying real low in the blind spots and often making pursuers crash!, I love going low when my team goes high and vice verse!
I could go on and on but what I want to stress is how do I convey these tactics to my squad/team in flight prior to a run without the enemy knowing? Granted squads can strategize in squad chat prior to a mission etc...but for the most part, we fly with whoever and however the game populates missions.
What I can't wrap my head around is why can we converse with the enemy in game! “Okay team, Leadhead and I are going to drop and cover you 3 bombers on the next run”....mission: FAILED. Countered by the enemy...gee, how'd that happen???
Wouldn't you agree that conversation is reserved for world chat and the forum?? wouldn't you rather be able to communicate tactics/strategies with your own team WITHOUT the enemy knowing?!
...I don't get it...So many times I've had to reserve myself from communicating with my team because the enemy would know and be able to counter it, this is my point,I believe it's valid and I hope you will agree. Many battles have been lost because teams don't have the ability to work together without revealing strategies to the enemy.
What would we really lose by eliminating the ability to chat with the enemy? ahhh...nothing.
Here are some points I'd like to make IF only in flight chat was enabled and reserved for ONLY your team, German or Allied;

*Spawnkilling.If someone on your team is sk then tell them to stop! Report them! We already have this function in place by clicking on their name in the roster! If your enemy is sk you then report it! Counter it! Tell your team to counter!! Teamkillers...same thing.

*Cussing/swearing. Wow,this a a huge problem in game! Imagine how much LESS blacklisting there would be if an enemy could NOT swear at you!,causing grief,instigating...you're awful laggy!!! Man that gets old! Everyone lags! There are pilots who enter a game just for that purpose to provoke someone! Imagine if they now knew they couldn't annoy the enemy!. What if they are cussing on your team? Again,report them! Tell them to leave! Click on their name and report them! At least they would not be able to cause grief with the enemy, how cool would that be?

*Endless drama,dribble and chatter would be gone! You can get that on as the world chat turns, thank you.

***Most importantly, this is what we would gain; ***

*Being able to help and direct your team to new levels and variations of tactics and strategies! Pilots!,we're missing the boat (hahaa) on different levels of excitement! Imagine a whole team going on a high bombing run off radar! Imagine sending out 3 dogfighters leading 2 bombers! This stuff is awesome but it typically happens by chance,and if you do call the move,your gigs up!
This would take gameplay to a new level of strategic ability.

Zuperman! Please eliminate communicating with the enemy and enable comms with ONLY your team!

The topic you just made Templar is called having a Team chat. It's a very crucial part in online Multiplayer games in which feature team game modes in order for the teams to organize attack strategies against the enemy team without them being notified or alerted. It's a must add feature, but it should still have General plane chat especially if some of the enemies are known by the other team or in short, squad mates.

If it was done, I think it should be optional, a button you press like the one to hide the chat. A lot of us enjoy talking to friends who happen to be on the other team, and wouldn't particularly want that removed.

Mr. Templar, i agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying, and i think it is a good idea. However it also has its drawbacks. There are times when you see someone on the other team that you would like to talk to. Maybe a fellow squad member is on the other team. Or if you are at all like me it can be fun to make stupid remarks about something and make someone on the other team laugh about it. I personally think maybe your idea could be incorporated with the in game chat. But i dont know if its a good idea to replace all together the in game chat as we know it.

A good idea, I strongly believe this should be implemented.

However, I think players should have the option to speak with the other team if they wish (if you have a friend on the other team, for example). In this case, there should be a way to control whether you are typing into "Team Chat" or "All Chat" during the game.

Hope the devs see this, it would be a great way to solidify teamwork and tactics into the game.

I think that would be great for when you need to discuss strategy and without worrying about the enemy knowing your plan

Equipo...montar.estrategias sin que nadie se entere.podrias si quisieras hablar con tus amigos del equipo contrario o tambien tener la.opcion de.hablar solo con tu equipo.seria muy interesante.nosotros los aguilas megras planteamos una opcion en cuestion de estrategia que al final no se hizo, no se por.qe.no la.verdad.consitia en formar las.estrategias por.mdedio de.siglas asi el enemigo no.se.enteraria de tus planes yo hize un trabajo creo que interesante no se si se llevara a cabo o no con el tiempo.si el super no inventa algo claro.ejempl: mis=mision hp hundir portaviones..at ataque izquierda algo asi hice..digamos qe mejor preparado esto es solo un ejemplo a muchos hermanos les gusto esta en stanbay de momento ya se vera si lo incorporamos estamos en restructuracion en cuanto a nuevos cargos digamos.por cierto a mi me quieren hacer jefe.de.relaciones publicas y jefe tecnico de vuelo con 2 o 3 pilotos a mi cargo bueno digamos que esto segundo fue mi ofrecimiento.jefe.tecnico intructor.de vuelo para nuestros nuevos pilotos un abrazo.

Have two chat buttons. One on either side of the chat window. One would say "team chat", the other "all chat".
