So, in addition to team killing and vulgar language, can we add the pilot that joins a game and at some point stops playing but doesn't leave? To top it off they constantly say how their team can't win and then tries to justify his decision through the chat.

I mean just leave the game and allow the team to gain another pilot.

Of course, I doubt anyone would do this. I just think it should be a rule in case anyone decides to do this in the future.

Oh my god, YES IT SHOULD BE BANNED. Ruining a game is a bannable offense, and this definitely ruins the game. And the guy moves up the ranks! He's in the top 60, last I looked. Unbelievable. At least he should have the decency to quit the game he finds unwinnable to make room for an Aspirant who will actually fight. What a piece of work!

Whenever I see him in a game, I just leave. Fortunately, haven't seen him in weeks.

there's always one ever night that is a tank in a ctc game. Or they fly around doing nothing. or there can someone kill me I want to be a tank. I say then go find a tank game.

Yeh I've seen him and others doing this. It's especially annoying when new players come in and swarm towards the idle lump.
I don't think it should be cause for a ban, but def not a good playing style; at least not for more than 3 mins or so. Things come up, folk gotta pee etc, but that should not be cause to ruin it for others.
Maybe the next update could include a 3 minute auto-kick if inactive. WoW does that when idle for 15 mins I think.

An observation: Look at his stats. Bombed...Won.
People pass by...thinking he's harmless...he gets up...bombs...win.
Granted, its a silly strategy, but it works.
If you watch...he talks on your bomb run...were you distracted?

Sometimes, after being in-game for a long time, my physical condition or needing to adjust the harness I have to wear needs adjusting, so I'll rest for a bit. Should I be banned as well? I work hard for victory. Should I forfeit that?

Paul, I've seen you do this, sit idle for a short period. As BB said you have to step away for a moment sometimes. That's not a problem. But I have seen many times a player just sitting for the entirety of a game. That's just poor sportsmanship with no regard for teamplay. You, sir, could never be accused of not being a team player or non-mission oriented player.

When a player goes lame duck, the should be booted. Certainly 3-5 minute period and then a boot would be nice.

And since you brought up stats, I think I will post a stats a analysis spreadsheet that I played around with. I can't help it, its kinda what I do for a living and if you give me numbers like we have in the ranking list, I will put it in a spreadsheet and start adding formulas. I know I will. I've seen me do it! OCD? Maybe.... Anyway certain players have very peculiar stats. Anomalies, if you will. And I know from my observations, I can explain most of them. It's very telling.

No Paul, I don't think one should forfeit or quit for needing a quick break. But perhaps those more courteous players could announce their quick break and then park at the end of their runway. That would be the decent thing to do.

I never park near a runway. My new Kindle DOES make my butt look bigger. Some clown will ram me. I try to get someplace where I can be seen on map...off the beaten track. They come out of their way to find me. They get close? I enter the tunnels to go to DF Underground & take the train to another spot.

Some of this sounds like things I will do when I spawn in to a game where their maybe not spawn killing but killing a lot. Ill wait for one to make a pass and try to pull up behind or after them, sometimes that's the only way your getting airborne. I was in a game the day this thread got started and it was 5 to 2 I told the other player set ur breaks an wait, none of them had bombs left so we weren't going to loose the game so I said wait for opening, the other player got up shot one down so that was that I took off hoping to kill the tank but was shot down 3 more times. Was im a DF mission with wig earlier and some guy was sat infront of the spawn point.kept crashing tryin to take off.when asking him to leave he replied"im watching youtube"lol.

No Dave, I believe this about folks that get shot down usually and walk away for a break, leaving their plane on the map and taking up a spot for another pilot that will actually play. It leaves his team at a disadvantage. One player has been mentioned specifically, but I've seen many more do it.

As stated by others, I might take the opportunity to relieve myself or get repositioned, but I don't go make a sandwich while team is a man short. I'd just quit. And I agree with Paul, I try to keep the runway clear.

An idle player boot is still the best solution in my opinion.

I have seen and played with pluribus when he would be at the top of the leaderboard. All he needs is a little motivation to get up and fight. But I'm warning, once that happens he'll be a natural born killer...

I've been thinking about this... Your analysis would be interesting.... I will say, When I started the game My death's were in the thousands and my kills were in maybe the hundred's... It took me awhile to catch up and pass my death's.... I joined the Forum around Nov 2011. I was playing month's before that I believe... I was spawn killed relentlessly in many game's, Never complained and many of the people started giving me tips on how to save point's. A lot of those people are gone now. Bomber's still here. I had many a game with him. Those people would get me laughin so freakin hard. They all offered to stop Spawnkilling me, I should have taken them up on that one... I would say no, I have to figure this out, I eventually did, through pointer's from them....
Anyway's. My death rate is very high mostly from the first month's of game play... I alway's seemed to end up in game's with the good one's.. . I didn't really pass my death rate by much till I got close to MORAF.

Yes Pluribus is totally annoying. sitting in the corner and crying. My first game with the new update he was there. Made me wish I could uninstall it. I take breaks from time to time for a Marlboro but always back in the game after. I think mute would be the answer or his team should let the reds have a pass and kill him about a hundred times in a row. Killing him wont work though he just sits there burning and crying. I've seen it happen. I put a post on the I'm sorry thread a wile back after a game with him.

This was my most recent game with plu. I can't stand this dude. He is my new pet project. I will be takin screen shots of his constant crying and posting on the blacklist. Sick of this. Also will be destroying him every time I get the chance.

He spawned late in this game. Three hangers left on his side. Two split on the left and one on the right. His team was fighting hard. He never even took off. Didnt move his plane. First thing he said was " great another game I can't win " Next I grabbed this shot. Then I told him auto destroy and quit. No response to me. I put about 20 bullets into him. No effect with his brake on. Shortly after my team took out the remainder of the red hangers. Thanks plu for the win and the assist. Glad you weren't on my team. I would have dropped my bomb on you if you were.
