Ok I realize I may be asking folks to divulge trade secrets that they won't want to part with, and lack of responses will tell the tale, but I'd like to hear some tips and tricks for head on encounters. Currently, I suck terribly at these. I have gotten as good as I will probably get at basic skills like take offs, landings, bombing and the like. I'd like to say I'm getting better at chasing everyday. However, head-ons have seemed my least developed skill. Aspirants to air Marshalls have taken me out on a regular basis. My best strategy so far has been to hope to "survive" the encounter by luck or evasive maneuvers and beat em in the chase. In some cases the opponents seem so skilled at this as to seemly take me out with one shot (Baz comes to mind, as well as SheiBe Kopf)

Any help is appreciated,
PH

As always, learn from your enemy's actions. If they start swerving and turning, try the same as them.

;) quick bursts work good. I wait for them to fire some times and line up site with where point of fire is coming from, and then feed steady stream of lead poisoning. It does take a steady eye and hand, with slight adjustment. There's more, but I'll wait to see what the experts say.  My game tag is --=paws=--

It would be great if I could see where the point of fire is coming from. Whenever I aim where I think it is, I get shot down almost immediately.

It probably doesn't help that I have terrible reflexes and always shoot about a second or two after I intend to.

Lately I'm more inclined to just crash than to let myself get shot down.

I always try to shoot tye enemy before they shoot me. But if tuey do start shooting, trace the linenof bullets back to the enemy plane. Shoot at that. Hope this helps.....

B) fire in short bursts 5 to 10 round then move a little. If he is fireing none stop follow rounds back to him.

Most important is a steady hand. Just practice keeping ur plane strait while ur going to the enemys base. Then aim to where the bullets are coming from and fire, practice makes it perfect
