Hey zuperman when flying in Elite quite often my machine guns don't even work.. and when they do they only fire a short 2-3 round burst before I have to try and trigger them again.. it sucks!

I am playing on a 3rd Generation Kindle HDX...

So from the fact that nobody else has replied to this thread am I to surmise that I'm the only person dealing with malfunctioning machine guns?

Seriously though. Lots of times I'll think I'm pressing the fire button and nothing happens. I think what's actually happening is that since I'm playing on a tiny phone, I just don't have my thumb crooked enough and I miss the button. Pretty dang frustrating when you've finally managed to get somebody in your sites!

Same thing was happening to me. So what i do is before I play I get my friend Joey to come over. I focus on flying and he worries about the shooting

Except for the occasional lag, and sometimes losing connection, I haven't had any issues with Elite.

I don't even get the strange cross wind anymore.
