Hi bahsue,
No worries. This is a common situation. It's amazing how bent out of shape some players get over the whole "dropping" issue. I've been in great bombing games, heavily outnumbered, fighting waves of reds and desperately destroying red tanks with anything I could throw at them, then to be driving them back only to be accused of cheating because I'm not carrying a bomb which was dropped for a valid tactical reason. Just keep in mind that there are no rule against dropping in any situation and that there are ways it can be used as a valid and very effective team strategy. Sure, there are many players who drop as soon as they take off on every run, that is not the kind of play that the NLR supports. If you drop for valid reasons there is no need for you to worry about the complaints.
If accusations surface, have patience in how you handle the situation. If you were not playing abusively and feel the need to defend your actions, do so in a logical manner, as you have here. You will have my support and that of many members of the NLR.
Believe me, I've been through this. You may want to check out the thread I started over a year ago:
Complaining about droppers? STFU!
Things seem to have gotten somewhat better since then, but there are still many who think it is their right to tell others how to play.
