Hey guys, just thought I'd come see wassup.
Just wanna letcha know, IMO, you guys are the scariest squadron in the game. When I see an "M.O.M" tag, I know I can probably shoot this guy headon. But when I see that little "£" symbol, I groan out loud. Your squadron is the reason I no longer play anything but bombing missions. I'm downright terrified of Ziza, Zebra, and Treybien...
Anyway, congrats on the top 100, Zebra! You earned it! See ya guys in the sky! (I'd rather NOT see you guys in the sky, especially as red, but that's my standard farewell)

I like to think of our tiny escadrille as the "Biggest Little Squadron" in Dogfight, as we currently only have 24 pilots.. and our impact in the skies of Dogfight belies our small size.

ZebraUp, it was good to see you in the game tonight. I lost connection so was out of the game, which was OK because I could tell it was going to be another long, long, long one.

I had already been playing for a while so I didn't try to get back in. I have found that when I do 90 minutes or two hours my neck really starts to hurt(for several days), so I'm trying to keep my games to about 30 minutes or so, but try to get in more games during the day. My wife says I'm addicted and she is not fond of me picking up the iPad. but hey it keeps me off the street and out of trouble!

Hope you are able to start spending more time shooting up the landscape.

I had a game of bomb the hangers and RT and Moondog (or is it Moongog?) where there. All I can say is … I'm glad they are Lafayette Escadrille! They are just deadly. They were, of course, on the wrong side! Nice to see you guys today. Once you all left, my score got much better.

RT, thank you for the complement, it is appreciated, especially from someone as skilled as you.

I'm still working on getting the hang of my iPad Air. It seems that once I get it pointed close to a plane, it is extremely difficult to nudge it one way or the other. I put a little twist on the device and the sight stays put, a little more and it stays put, a little more and off it goes all over the sky. Then I wiggle and dance it around until I hit something or get shot down.

Most of the time now my kill/shotdown ratio is about 1 to 1 when a lot of MORAF's are around. I do a little better when I'm dealing with folks in my category or below. But that's how you learn, watching how the higher ranks do it ... and practice a lot!

I find the same thing with my iPad as well. I sit in a couch with a cushy arm...that helps stabilize it. I still have that problem you mention. I kind of sweep a little before I draw a final bead on the target. Seems to help. I have also stabilized using a pillow to rest the iPad on. Good luck...I usually bail out of games with £ opposing. Just don't like shooting at my squad members! Thanks again!

Just pm'd ZebraUp, with the message below, but I now realized that he may not be on the forum for a few weeks.

I've just read the title thread for the Lafayette Escadrille. It seems the type of squad, that I'd like to be a part of. I like the sense of history that is a part of your squadron.

Are you taking any new members? I am only Level 12, but I'm hoping that will get better, once I have the points to buy a 3rd level plane. Not far off now.

I would be happy to add my name to a waiting list, if you have one.
