Auto updated to the above 4.4.40/41 4 servers, first look, less server congestion . I did notice so far, texture corruption on carrier just above water line. The 2nd appeared hovering above ground - no water. This was on Masurian Lakes. No black screen between games. Nexus 7 android 4.3.

Well i was just up flyin on my LG Optimus G phone and took some shots of the distorted carriers. Or maybe just new paint jobs! You be the judge!

I see the same. I've only played the one game, but I thought it was smoother than before, other than the carrier I didn't see anything else.

Look closer ghost. It's one of those collage pictures from all the photos posted on Luna's "face of dogfight" thread.

I played several games now and it does feel more smoother but it seems planes are disappearing off screen nearer this again on water maps. (disappearing) noticeable on dogfighter matches. Chased several times only to find plane vanish and reappear in a diff location. In addition after hit registers plane disappears you get the kill notication and no smouldering plane heading to ground this has happened several times.

S4 quit-bug is still alive and kicking me out.
The carriers got chameleon decease and I can't quit and rejoin without closing the app and restart it first.
If I hit play again I get a black screen for a while.
All the games I played tonight was laggy with planes dicappering and jumping back and forth.

This happens with me all the time. Even on older versions and older servers . ( playing on windows )

seems like ghost problem is starting to infect android too.

There's some real bad lag especially the zep games.Do the servers need to settle in so to speak.

bad lag in which zones? one zone should be faster than the others to you, since they are based in different continents

Its almost like when a game starts its fine but about half way through it just gets worse until planes are jumpin and dissapearing and everyone ends up ghosting.

Updated again and this is what I see on the screen Samsung tab 2

my bad, it is fixed already. You should be getting the update any time.
Also there are 3 more zones total now. And they tell you in which continent so you can pick the closest one to you.

This latest update (just downloaded on both phones):
- S4 is quitting the app about 90% of the time right after I select a plane. Tried different servers, rebooted phone, deleted app and re-downloaded, still quits. In the 10% of the time that I do get into the game, the quitting is after about 10 minutes of play.
- S3 seems to be getting into the game fine, and staying in the game. Only played 4 games though.
- Many games missions are mixed up. Says Dogfight, but I see carriers with percentage bars and percentage numbers above them. Another game says Shoot Zepp, but we have bombs and hangars, and no zepp; for that same game, others reported that it said Dogfight.
- Graphics seem the same, maybe a touch smoother than 4.4.39 but hard to tell. Water edges shake a lot, same as 4.4.39
- Map seems fine, just like 4.4.39
- Carriers are not speckled like reported for earlier 4.4.40

I notice/experience this same issue quite a bit. Playing a zep game but have bombs and in a dogfight and menu says to bomb airport etc. Planes skip ALOT and there are still ALOT of ghosts. See reds and am firing at them then they disappear as i get closer.

Quit-bug got a whole lot worse with the last update on S4 but is playable again on the old S2.
Looks to me like the last updates has caused more devices and brands to be infected with the quit-bug.

can you try this version on your s4 and tell me whether it works better?

Can I try it on my Nexus 7 2.cos the quid bug is the most frustrating thing about the game.I'll take ghosts over quit bugs

Big Tex just bought a Note 3 and its doing the same.

If it has the quit bug too, try it in there and let me know

As soon as I get on wifi I will try that one.

It's not completely cured from the quit-bug, but it's heck of a lot better.
This I can live with IF it stays this way. First quit after 2 hours of playing.
Havn't time to try more today. I will try some more tomorrow.
I'll let you know how it goes.

With that .apk, the quit bug is a lot better now on my S4. It quit, but after two relatively long games. I will keep testing!

For some reason it's almost back as it was before.
This morning the first quit came after 3 minutes and then quited 5 times I less then 1 hour.

I'll test some more in a couple of hours.
Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Yeah so it is random.

My s4 is also back to game quits. About every 10 minutes. Better if I run Advanced Task Manager.

Hey Zup, Ever since last update (not sure what the #'s are) I have not been able to hit the broad side of a barn. My deaths rose up dramatically while my kills dropped big time. I have tried aiming using every area of my sight but out of ten games I will be lucky to get 2-3 kills. What gets me is how others are able to kill me from so far away but I cant hit them when I hit them dead on if you know what I mean. There are others experiencing this same issue. Direct hits to another plane rarley count and if they are quite a ways away I can empty my rounds and not even come close but they hit me? I am playing on a S4 and like I said, before the last update my kills were about 240 and deaths were around 120. Now my kills are 305 and deaths are 440? Wondering if this could be a glitch since there are others experiencing the same thing?
