As per Zuperman, the coins purchased by the member will benefit his squad members too as shown below.
The points so purchased will be shown as donated in buyers account besides increasing his buying power.

Zup... When you purchase coins does the amount of coin that each squad member receives show up in your "donated" status? (Ex.. If you purchase 3,000,000, is 3,000,000 also supposed to show up in "donated"?)

Yes. It'll show as donated against your account.
