Blue, call me the detractor, but this stat is arbitrary. I could make the criteria on this just about anything. I just don't see the point in this particular stat.

yes there is a discussion thread on this and the method used to calculate it. The current method let's some players who are really not that great (or who's style of play is to tank spawn kill, camp etc) get a higher slugging value while others who are hard hitting players that make a difference to a game are stuck in the middle.

I've been toying with some ways to calculate but it's not easy.

This stat was requested by Cricket and he explained me that in baseball the effectiveness of player is calculated by this formula. If there is better option or you want to change the formula or stat just let me know.

Just like in baseball, it measures your production per at bat, or in this case, per spawn.

You could change the formula, but then it wouldn't be SLG %.

Yes, but in this particular instance, I could make the numbers and multipliers fit my needs. That makes it arbitrary. Per spawn stats can be adjusted to fit the need and hardly represents the true fighters. I could still call it a slg%. You made the formula, but who is to say someone couldn't adjust it with the same criteria using a different algorithm and come out with separate results?

Most of the other stats are based on the previous 15 days activity. Looks like the slugging percentage is using current accumulated totals since inception.

If I am correct, this reserves this particular measure to only those with a rank of 100 or below.

I would like to see it based on the last 15 days just like your other stats.

I really appreciate the time you spend putting this stuff together. I really look forward to reviewing the current stats twice a month.

I am perfectly ok with however you want to handle it. I appreciate all that you do. Thank you very much for the time you spend on our account. I do look forward to your bi-monthly stat updates.
