Ok some one else did skystorms sorry I couldn't do it in time it told me I had to pay $3 to save it when mcfate took off the background (it turns I out he's good with a computer cropping tool) using a computer coz I couldn't crop it on my tablet.
O ya and hey I GUYS I would like to leave the banner company until I can make stuff faster it's been so long since I've made a banner that I can't do it correctly in a short amount of time so I will rejoin if I can get better at doing this (if u want me back) coz all its doing at the moment is stressing me out a bit on top of some other things and I couldn't even crop out a plane

I think we all feel the pressure to complete the work as quickly as possible and I think we are losing a bit of focus on what this banner request thread was intended to do that is make it easier to for artists and banner requesting players together. I suggest the following amendments to the processes here and everyone can tell me what you think.

1. Anyone who has a banner will not get new work until anyone requesting who does not have a banner at all is complete.
2. The standard delivery time is 1 - 2 weeks so until 2 weeks are up from the point of an artist saying they will take the job no posts should be made by the requester as this puts stress on the artist.
3. If the artist knows it will be more than 2 weeks until the banner will be complete they should say when the work will be done and on post one the delivery date should be posted for each job. This way everyone knows the time line on which the work will be done.
4. Anyone who has received a banner from us can not request another for 3 months.
5. If any artist needs help we are here to help each other. I have very sophisticated tools at my disposal and although I don't ave time to make a lot of full banners I can help with cutting objects out and adding small bits of animation as this is quite simple with the tools I have. I think a few of us have similar tools so lets all work together.
6. The atmosphere is more of a sweatshop than a happy art studio lets all relax and have fun and try and share in the joy of making art.
7. Anyone who puts pressure on the studio will be not allowed to request art since art can be made by anyone and we are not paid we do this to help and it should always be considered a favor. If players don't know some banners take 4-5 hours of work and even a horrible artist would charge no less than $20/hour so that's around $100 minimum. If I did this for a client I would charge over $300 for something like mine so this is no small favor being asked.

I make these comments in hope that Cat of Doom will stay and participate even in a very reduced way so that we don't lose touch and we all share the joy not the pressure.

And I know 1 banner isn't enough to stress some people out but some banners do stress me out a lot of the times when I'm taking a while on them.
And thanks whip ok well I will do some but not right now I need to do a few test ones to get back into the habit of doing banners

absolutely cat! At ur own pace buddy. If u need to practice just say so bud, no harm no foul (sept me, im a bird lol) we are here for u buddy. We work as a team here, so if u need help dont hesitaye to ask, me, whip, storm, ice Girl, and all the others here would be glad to give u a hand

Ok guys. My secret banner project is done. Its one banner but getting the lay out right was a pain lol. I will be making a whole thread for this one banner. Its for a special guy we all love here.

Exactly Kes, I have tons of fonts and pre-made medals and stock art i have collected. I can make the fade effect very easily and the chrome like my whiplash below, and lots of other things. Even if you just want to chat about ideas as to what I think are good rules to follow like if you have a crazy background with light and dark that some text goes over make sure you put a highlight opposite the text color. So say you have black text make sure you put a white outline or glow on the edge. You don't need much but some so it can be easily read.

Ok guys. Me and whip have thought about it. And I think its time we have an Employee of the Month since we now have a full staff. We have a few simple rules for being Employee of the Month.

3. The max uou can win Employee of the Month is 2 months in a row. This is so its fair for everyone.

4. If 2 or more employees tie in productivity, then both are eligible for Employee of the Month.

5. And clock in on time.
(PS Whip and I will be moving the Punch In clock around at random, just to make it interesting lol)
