Tanks in a dogfight are just easy kills for planes. The problem with spawnkilling tanks in the other games is that everyone on the same team spawns from the same location every time. In a dogfight game, if you're at an airport and get blown to bits you're probably gonna spawn somewhere else. I usually make it a point to then go find the cowardly buggger and blow him to bits.

Yes and sometimes I can persuade the other pilots to allow me unmolested passage to go on special spawnkilling tank bombing mission. ;)

Well, Sput, I was actually only successful once. The other times I tried this, someone did shoot me. But, it's a start. :)

I was in a very special FFA game last night. As usual there was a spawnkilling tank at one of the bases backed up next to one of the buildings where he could pick off planes. So while I circled around to either bomb and / or straff the dastardly miscreant when I was shot down by another plane. Not wasting such an opportunity, I quickly tanked and proceded to drive up behind the spawnkiller and annhialate him. No big deal but, then here comes another tank driving right past me to the other side of runway to set up another spawnkilling spot. So after minor windage adjustment, I erradicated a second vermin. I then backed straight away and asked someone to please "release" me from this claustrophobic environment and I was soon respawned back into plane.
Forgive me for savoring that but, it was my greatest moment so far in Dogfight. :) which, I know, doesn't say much

Love it Oedius. I've never seen a Dogfight won by a tank in the many months I have played, but like I said, it's just a easy kill as far as I am concerned.

No, no.....all I did was kill a couple of low life spawnkilling tanks that were preying on planes before they could even take off from base. I had never killed a tank before with a tank. But, it just really made it extra special when that second tank showed up right after I had killed the first one. :)

That's what I mean by "I love tanks fights." They're so fun!

Especially when you sneak on them.

YES! I agree. After that episode, I want to practice more. It adds a whole new dimension and is quite a challenge. But, why are they allowed to "float" on the lakes?
