Shoot from the ground? You'll like it! It's one of those things you love to try out!
Prepare for a really careful nice slow, VERY level landing. Then just before you hit the ground make a quick half roll and land upside down. You can still move by turning the phone, and you can shoot level with the ground, and with practice you can take off again too.
I did it recently on the lower deck in a carrier and gave the smirking red player who sat there a real surprise! But taking off again down there was tricky!
I think the "drag-crashed-plane-off-deck-and-dump-it-in-the-sea" mechanism became activated and made taxiing difficult to control.
It is difficult to move around upside-down on the runway, and on the grass, but it's certainly not impossible.
I'm doing upside-down landings because I plan to try it on a zep. Maybe I can even move the plane about a bit up there and be a flak battery?
