Wow. I remember when Duck was one of the top 20 pilots in the game by rank. Now, I just passed him. He is #134 now. I still think that with one hand, using an iPad, the fact that he was able to hold a conversation WHILE blowing you out of the skies was miraculous. He refused to go down without a fight. He was a military sniper with 96 kills. That makes him one of the top snipers in recent history. In my opinion, he was the top Dogfight ace too. Watup might be more famous, Mbizzi's plain lethal, and Sky can out-turn a circle, but they all have four limbs. John had one.

If anyone sees him in game, please urge him to come back on the forum once in a while, just to keep in touch.

I never really knew him but its sad to see another good player leave. Ill never get to that top 20 he was and I've been playing for almost 2 years or so. I'm from before watup and bstratchin and mbizzi and slenderman. Ill never be the .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of a piolit he was.

Hey, your still a damn good pilot, screw rankings. You just don't play a whole lot, that's all. You know more about Dogfight than anyone, including Z, since he doesn't play much anymore. You know the moves from all the generations of pilots, from Gyshan and 420 up to Loser and Sput. That's why you're such a good pilot.

I know it is not the ranking it is the best on the game in a fight like a general in the war okay they are not exactly 100 percent better than others on the team he just earned his rank by playing Alot so don't crap on yourself bud it's okay I miss min too okay

So Duckwing and Gysham are both in line for a memorial on the map. We could have a Duckwing Hall at the south airport and at least a Gysham hill somewhere.

On the age distribution chart there is a deep drop in numbers in the age group 20-24. Might that be what has happened to Duckwing and Gysham? That they have fallen into the 20-24 quagmire and won't be able to drag themselves up un dry land for years to come?

and for the pilots from when the game first started. Like the guy named ace123. First guy i played and only other guy in my first game. The funny thing about that first game was that neither of us could hit each other lol we got in a chasing fight. I would get him were i could see him in a turn and i would fire and miss lol. so we would break off then go head to head with each other and we missed. We both crashed about 10 times trying to kill each other. We were both more afraid of the ground than we were of each other. It was my first game and i did not know to bomb i don't think he know we were supposed to eather. I was in a sop with camel he was in the red triplane. Back then there was no difference in the way those planes flew and there was no hanger because there was only those 2 planes. we both started with 2 bombs but they did not show under our planes and had no affect on the way the planes flew a lot like in practice mode when you have 12 bombs and they don't affect how you fly. The airports were just a strip of runway with 8 hangers by them. The ground was not as detailed and a brighter green. it would be unrecinzible now days. The hills and the land seemed different than it is now. The hill by the allied base was not as big i think. The land i don't think had any landmarks it was just the same small hill repeated across the land making a urged looking land scape. I am sure that was the way it was. you had to look at the map to find your way around because it all looked the same. the german base looked no different than the allied base. Any way we played against each other for a while until one of us actuly got a kill. He got that first kill and then i got one on him. The game ended with me having 2 kills him with 3. Me with 24 deaths him with 20 deaths. Neather of us bombed any it simply ended with one of us saying to heck with it and leaving.
I played a few more games against some different people. But i decided the game was dead because hardly anyone played so i quit playing for a long time. At least for more than a year or 2. I was searching the app store for a good fighter pilot game and i found dogfight so i downloaded it again and hoped into the game and was surprised to see people playing and more planes than just the red triplane and sop with camel. And i was surprised to see a bomb under my plane and it affecting the way my plane flew and i was surprised to see that the land was different and there were buildings at the airports instead of just the runway and the hangers. You could parishut out of your plane and kill planes with the parachute and then become a tank. It was different way different from when i first played the game. So yes i agree lol we should have memorial for the first gen dogfighters.

I agree, Hamers. They gave this game a kickstart and got it going, and you're the last remaining regular pioneer. 420 and Ernst pop up once in a while, but for the most part, you stay here.

Sky I remember when the game was like that, I played my very first game with zuperman the entire time I didn't know he made the game lol I remember being terrible and crashing a lot also ...I think I got 0 kills Haha
