Keeping his spirits up is so important. Especially, as he begins to understand what has occurred.
He'll have many emotional swings. We must let him know NOTHING has changed.

I came up with ways to support my & your device above you on line & bungee, as I got better, so you can fly without use of your arms..Just hands (a couple of fingers). It's easy and cheap.
I got credit for therapy! To shoot your butts down!
When I was paralyzed last year, I discovered, YOUR and my DF family are an amazing group of folks.
They brought me up when I was down (almost said "pilot down")

THE DOGFIGHT FAMILY got me through.

If you folks never saw my THANK YOU..THANK YOU...especially WIG.

YOU people saved my life.

THANK YOU...IN SO MANY WAYS.

Your story is inspiring, I've only seen you in a couple of games. But the story you just told there is amazing. Good to know you are here.

Awwwwwwwww she is sooo sweet. JD is a lucky man to have a woman like her by his side .

Is jd still in the coma or asleep on his own or awake? Any update on his over all condition?

I also want to thank the crew that made that roll cage. That thing was really made right. That without a doubt saved his life, of course Gods Angels helped out too. JD has a guardian angel looking out for him.

If there's a Dogfight group message or card still in the works by all means include my name among JD's other well wishers here.

As Kestrel said, a more detailed update on JD's post-surgery condition would, I'm sure, be welcomed by everyone following his progress. Only as updated info and your time allows, of course.

Needless to say, I would have preferred this dreadful circumstance never to have happened to one of our own but the response from people of all faiths and regardless of squad affiliations serves to reinforce what a supportive, unified community this can be when someone among us finds him/herself faced with a challenge such as this.

I've enjoyed playing with JD but don't know him well. It strikes me that someone who does what he does, embraces speed, danger, evaluates and chooses to take on the inherent risks, must be the personality type who will not allow a tragic accident to beat him. Our wishes are sure to be appreciated but it's JD's personal strength and the support of his loved ones and medical professionals that'll pull him through.

Ghost and/or whomever is keeping most closely in touch, feel free to check in on the M.O.M thread with a word or two as you learn more. I know our members are hoping JD will make a full, rapid recovery.

Trone187 made this awhile back, and it only took me about two hours to dig through the Misfits thread to find it i think its a good time to post it again. This dogfight community is just amazing, thank you to everyone here. My wife now understands why im on the forum and game so much (even after I told her I wouldn't play as much after I hit level 31 )

Hey folks, great news! Jds vitals are up and strong. Docs say its up to him to wake up now. So hopefully it will be soon. I know we all miss JD. So please keep praying. Thank you all.

This is fantastic news!!!!!! Im still praying for his full recovery but i had to stop and tell god thank u for pulling off another miracle. I was just about in tears when i seen greys latest post. This really made my day. I think JD deserves a purple heart for all this and never giving up.

Any updates on JD? I kniw im being pesky now but Im just worried. I want him to wake up but my worries r when the doctors start checking for paralization or anything. Im still praying for his complete 100% recovery. God has pulled off one miracle, now im praying for a second . I know with Gods help JD can pull through all this.

Not sure if it means any thing or not. But his toes and fingers have been seen moving. Docs says this it maybe muscle twitches. But were hoping for the best. He has not woke up yet, if he isnt awake by tomorrow, they will do some scans on his head to see whats up.
