Question for [M]isfit leadership...

Is there an Official [M]isfit position on the use of the "Tank Glitch"? I cannot find one. I did find a comment by TR about the glitch and the only solution being to shoot every chute... I agree.

On the use of the glitch, I don't see a problem with it or any other glitch in this game. I don't get the glitch most of the time, but when I do, I use the tank glitch to tank kill hangars, but not to tank spawn kill enemy aircraft ([M]isfit rule and DF bannable offense). I don't shoot red planes that have already bombed over my base to avoid the tactic being used against me, and as TR said, shoot every chute.

MEAN and two other red players were complaining that "[M]isfits don't do that." I said I never said that, but I would check the forum and apologize if necessary. I do see general complaining in the Gossip thread, but not here. If we, as a squadron decide to take a formal position, I will certainly abide by it or surrender my [M] if I can't.

If by some reason I get a tank (no matter where I land) I will slay the hangars and any plane that shoots at me. If I am wrong, Please let me know. Until then, I will kill the reds and bomb them to hell. Tank on brother.

The tank glitch only works on one side near the base meaning it's a glitch and i will never use it, I've had it several times and i always return to base.

I have had the option to use the glitch often, but until it is a regular part of the game and available for both allied and German sides, I for one will choose to return to base. I think most of us know where the old "line" is for being in enemy territory, and will stick to that as close as possible. Just my two cents.

If I get my tank at the slope of final hill near allied base (where my tank is a clear target to reds) it is fair to use tank to my conscience,coz reds have a good chance to destroy my tank. For me, it depends on who I am playing. There are players out there that you just know are going to take advantage of the glitch and there are the honourable players who don't. I never know if the glitch is in play or not until I'm shot down near base. I have been on both allied and German and have had the glitch. But I also hear guys that only can do it while German. I'm just trying to shoot the pilot when he parachutes just to make sure.

The tank inside the carrier is real bad because you can't combat that. At least when the glitch is in play during btb you still can kill the tank...he might get a hangar or two but you can still get him. The guys that take advantage of the carrier glitch are real asses as far as I'm concerned. I thought that was fixed but just had it happen the other day thanks to Mig.29.

Exactly Sir Comet. It depends on who the reds are. If they play 'dirty' I won't hesitate to use a tank near their base. Couple of days back, I got tank sk Ed by coronal para. Yep,the MORAF. I have the screenshots. I didn't post it in blacklist thread. It is of no use. If there are reds like him in the game,I would go for the tank.

To me the the tank glitch is like lag. I've learned to play w it, as well as defend against it; and I figure when it changes if it does then ok. However for now if I land close and there's a tank I hop in and have fun watching the reds freak out.

That's an easy one and forgive me if I list the wrong brother, but I believe it was TR who wrote a story about his Black Ops recon mission in the rain at the house of a woman who would be his future wife (but she doesn't know that) with a stranger's car in the driveway. That was one of the FUNNIEST things iv read ANYWHERE!

Regarding the tank glitch, I have used it. However, if I'm shot down on the hill or close proximity to the hangers, I return to base. I don't like it used on me as I do know it to be a glitch. Now, its not a glitch in ctf and I will spawn as a tank to aid other planes trying for the flag.

2) I disagree to use the glitch to land the plane on enemy carrier or land by parachute on enemy carrier, go in tank (become invisible) and bomb the enemy carrier not giving chances to the enemy shoot you.
3) Tip: If you see a red plane landing on your carrier, do not kill him, because he will use that glitch against you.

I will use the tank if an enemy has me outnumbered and chooses to use that as an advantage. So if I happen to be on the side with that glitch then all is fair for our outnumbered team. I won't use it in an unfair way nor to sk on the runway as enox chose to do last night.

I say that common sense should be used whenever you are presented with such circumstances and remember that you do carry a M. Just because one guy or 3 are a holes about it, doesn't mean that we should be as well. Just my thoughts as it happens quite often now and I don't mind the extra challenges, just dislike the presentation at times.

For my part I have never used the glitch , but if somebody feels the need to that's ok with me....BUT using the glitch in a btc game is a cowardly,cheating thing to do and should not be condoned. It's all a matter of conscience ,THE IS NO M IN CONSIENCE BUT THERE MUST BE A CONSIENCE IN M'S. We are misfits because we are the good guys if one of us thinks something is right or wrong ,chances are the rest of us will agree. The force is strong amongst us.

A quick lunch patrol...had a few reds for lunch. I let them shoot me just outside of range so I could tank....um it wasn't good for a couple planes or the red tank within range.

Feels kinda funny to read comments throughout the Forum along the line of " we need a category for......."
Have to say this "project" really grew beyond my expectations, and owe of lot of that to the support from all of you!

As for the tank glitch thing. The way I see it , no matter where I get shot down if I hop in a tank, everybody is safe!

When I first started playing I got in the tank all the time. Had a pilot , never forget him, Doc C.C. Tell me once " he was coming for me" I promptly shot him down. The he says "I hate Skyripper" I asked him why and he said, "because you always become a tank" never saw him again after that game. But it made me think, " it is an Airplane game" I resisted getting into a tank ever since. I try it now and then just for fun, but it seems to be as popular as flying now. Have had a few Reds use the glitch, in a strange way I kind of enjoy the urgency it creates. Gives me a chance to bomb them!

Ok since Brother Slatz ignored me on this one, Hulk caught it. Comet you're right Nikki and Mick are right handed. The entire video is in a "mirror image" and this was The Official release. Seen this video a thousand times or better since the 80's and never caught it until recently. No idea how it happened or why, no clue how they did it. Just remember thinking a few weeks ago. " all these years I never realized they appear left handed in this." Every detail is completely backwards.

Managed to get in a couple games. Flying with Husky first game....stupid Dog knocked the plug to the router out trying to hide after she STOLE MY DINNER! Damn 4 legged Somali Pirate! Found another with lot's of good Pilot's rare game where I was actually on Sir Cannon' s side facing the Mighty Slatz! Good game....but the meds took over and things started moving r....e....a....l s.....l......o.......w.
Trying to keep my eyes open now! Guess my Grand Daughter wore me out! Forgot how much I enjoy playing the game! Now to decide on what Tablet to get!!
And speaking of meds, Doc said no to going back to work. At least a week maybe 2. Gave me another novel of prescriptions. Least I'll be happy!
