SPOILER ALERT!!! Last week, my 10 yr old son asked me if I brought some of the gifts that were from Santa

He asked because he noticed Santa signed differently on some of the presents (Santa presents were from me and my folks). I like to maintain an honest relationship with my son, so I admitted that I did provide some of the gifts from 'Santa'.
The other night, he fingered me as being the Tooth Fairy when he lost his tooth at 4 a.m. and there was no money received when he woke up!

I was fast asleep when that happened, but im sure some of you brotherz were up...why couldn't you a help a brother out and swing by?
Tonight, when he got out of the shower, he asked me if Santa was really real

Again, always being honest, I finally told him the truth

I explained that the magic of Christmas is real, explained the history of St. Nicholas and the meaning of Christmas, and that's what fills us with hope, wonder, and to believe...as this is where our dreams in life stem from and makes us stronger in pursuing them. Luckily, I made some jokes to ease the pain and make some laughs, but it didn't dull the pain entirely
He was still hurt and so am I. I knew this day would come

and it is a sad day regardless, in our household. I just wished he would stop growing up, thus losing his innocence in the beauty of imagination

Easter Bunny has also been outted.
Oh, in case you still believe...Santa is Real!

Not feeling flying right now...Good Night Misfits, sweet dreams, and believe in them. They can come true
