I've been looking at the in game squad list and I don't believe it goes buy the top 50 in the squad. I believe its random after the first four or five that have a rank for the squad.

I think some of the confusion comes from the two ranks.
World ranks = (your personal rank in the squad) or

Posted above squadron rank. This rank is different then your personal rank. This rank allows us to accept new members in to the squad along with a few other things.

Great game snake always fun flying with you. To bad our friend ran off he was a blast literally. Out numbered most of game ended nice n easy. Bzerk frag and btj had a nice dinner by the lake.
