trying to get back into misfits

Folks it saddens me to see so many great friends in this tizzy fight. Folks MR. PETE started out with a simple joke, nothing mean spirited was intended, however due to some unwarranted interference it all blow out of control.

May I suggest the following

1. WE ALL NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO EACH OTHER AND GET BACK TO NORMAL

2. PETE GET YOU BUTT BACK HEREE

3. From this point forward do not respond to any negative posts against us. Absolutely none. If someone says something bad about us then simply make one post explaining your side then that will be the end of it. NO MORE RESPONDING AND FUELING THE FIRES. After your post just leave it alone no matter what they say DO NOT RESPOND.

4. Knock off the rage posts against other squads or pilots and knock off the cussing. It doesn't represent the MISFITS WELL.

5. On our thread if anyone posts anything bad then just ignore it or delete it.


As most of you all know I'm in contact with probably more folks on dogfight then most. I woke up to several emails, P.m.s and texts.
They all see it the same way.

1. We are letting folks tear us apart. WHY MISFITS WHY.

2. Our standards as to what we write is lower then it has ever been. Everyone loves the sometimes crude humor however some of the posts are turning people off

Look guys, I love the MISFITS, each and everyone of you, but I have to say this. THIS IS ALL OUR FAULT BECAUSE WE KEEP RESPONDING TO CRAP THAT WE SHOULD JUST IGNORE.

I SINCERELY HOPE YOU ALL RECONCILE AND REALIZE WHATS GOING ON. YOU GUYS ARE TO FANTASTIC TO ALLOW THIS. THE MISFITS ARE STRONGER THEN THIS.

Remain calm folks lol! We're currently under construction and nothing more. As you know, when under construction things get noisy, walls get knocked down, and the whole place is a mess while work moves forward. But if you're patient for a little while something new will take its place with shiny windows and fresh paint. That's just the way it works

Just want to say I'm a [M]isfits to the end but I do really hope we can get this squad back on track. You want to learn how to have fun with this game again? Just jump into a game with Birdie and Yemx like I have had the chance to do a few times lately they put the fun back in dysfunctional. So I'm always trying to please Mrs Reck while driving - try not to speed, keep the volume on the stereo down because it bothers her, and just generally behave. It's tough, but I love her.
So when we're cruising along with a Nickelback CD playing when "Burn it to the Ground" comes on, and she cranks the volume to 28 and says "Babe, you can drive as f****** fast as you want", what am I gonna do?
Speakers blaring, subwoofer pounding, turbocharger screaming, and as the needle sweeps past 140mph I realize something......boys, we got ourselves a keeper

Quick note here.

I have never demanded anything from any member of this squad. I have shared my thought's and my opinions, some have agreed and some have not, fact of life. One thing we can all agree upon is that we will not always agree.

I have posted my thoughts many times as to how negative bs can be avoided if you simply don't let it get under your skin. Once it has and a response is given either in anger or short response at the moment, you have opened yourself up to receiving fire.

For the most part we are all adults who at times seem to forget that and allow ourselves to get pulled into things that don't always end well. I have not nor will not tell anyone you can not post where ever you like, or flirt on world chat. One thing I am not here is your parent.

I accept what comes from my actions and only ask that you do the same. Take into consideration that negative comments can spread like a disease and quickly escalate into an epidemic. It is easy to be negative and harder to remain happy for most are used to the negative side of life and afraid to be happy. My thoughts are from lessons learned as a result of my mistakes.

Think I figured out my problem

Jumped into an outnumbered game, thought I would get run over. Good game.

Please allow me to put things into perspective

Ive just had the worst 48 hours of my life . My wife passed on antibodies onto our new born son and they are attacking his red blood cells meaning he needed a full blood transfusion and to complicate matters his bloods quite rare too which made it difficult to obtain and check against the antibodies . He has UV lights right round him as well as its made him severly jaundice and there is a possibility of brain damage . Just to make matters worse my wife has had a few issues with bleeds , last night I was wondering what id done to upset the big man .

I got home tonight grabbed a beer sank into my chair and thought id check out how my misfits are getting on ( after a cry I might add) , you know maybe cheers me up reading a few funny comments but no just the opposite.

We all play this game to get away from real life crap but at the moments its the opposite

so while I have your attention ( and this is not directed at any individual ) please realise and accept we all have different opinions and while trying to convey your own do so with respect
