To celebrate Ghost's birthday (happy birthday, Ghost!), I decided to take the wife out. We went to a concert with a Canadian dude, alone on stage with hi's six-string. He was a master of that guitar, and had a voice that overpowered the Meyer Sound speakersystem in the concerthall, really impressive! During the show, he put aside the official program and took several requests from the audience, jammed with his piano player, impersonated Joe Cocker, played Kris Kristofferson songs and told stories from a 30 year music career. Towards the end of the show, he shouts out to the crowd (it was a small crowd, very intimate) "Ya'll wanna come down (to the stage)...? - Well come on down!" The women went wild... After the concert, he came back on stage and played another 7-8 extras!
His name is Bryan Adams, if any of you ever get a chance to see/hear the Bare Bones tour, GO! I've seen a lot, and this was among the best.
