I have been away for a long time, I was really busy because of my work lately. Sorry for that guys.
Now i am looking forward to become [M] and then top 100.
Also i have a question for u guys. I am playing with my SGS 3. It is hard to see enemies with a 4.8 inch screen. I am thinking about buying a nexus 7. Which android device is the best for dogfight ?

I get your two cents, but when I think about the misfits, I think of a prestigious and elite squadron of pilots. It isn't in the rules, but if you think about it, Misfit members have high expectations to live up to. You got to remain active and you got to be showing progress to be noticed on the thread and in the squadron. And I have yet to see the day when a member comes a long and says "yay I joined a squadron" and then stops playing all of sudden and remains inactive with loss of experience. And if we stop recruiting members, who will replace older officers as they come and go? We must have new recruits to keep our squadron strong, active, and prestigious. Just something to think about. You have a good point Couchy, we should be selecting quality and not entirely focus on quantity. But as Vonhulk is our head recruiter, I think he has good tastes in DF pilot quality, and for that reason, we will not be having problems with DF pilots who can bring nothing to the table. And, if they don't then we can always train them and shape into some fine awesome misfits!

I never thought i would agree with a COUCH,and I would have bet my left leg that Congress never makes any sense. BUT, I have to say they both make valid points. Trust me, I take this position very serious, I dont just accept every request. I'm happy with the recruits who have entered the squad since i took over.
I have a great helper in The Weatherman, Cat of Doom was a great help to me also. I try to be as selective as I can. But I look at it this way, You guys accepted ME.

Sup Specialist, I mainly use a IPad, but also own a nexus 7, and must say for the money the 2013 edition has great frame rates and fairly easy to see with my older eyes and no line bifocals I wear, I prefer the IPad mainly for the battery life as I felt the nexus doesn't hold it well, just make sure you get a extra long chord for charging whipping that tab around on a 3 foot cord well it's not going to stay plugged in that long, Lqtm, hope that helps, PM me should you have further needs.

If I may some thing here please.
When the Misfits came about Foust and I flew several missions with each pilot we asked. Some of the pilots we gave membership to well because we were a young Family (squad) and needed pilots. Once we hit 10 pilots, we started being very selective. Each pilot was hand picked by us. One you know now as our newest First in Command BZERK! Then we got Tbuilt, Raptor, Jack and so on. We have built this Family from the ground up, being picky on who we let in. We have had meny talks about defferent pilots. Most have made it, some just disappeared. Buy no matter the case, this Family is and al ways will be an invite only Family!

Stopping the recruitment process all togather will not happen. But as of right now, I feel we should not accept any more til the 12 we have has made it through. We are taking to meny in at once, and its getting a bit hectic. We need to slow down and get proper evals done!

We will always have great leaders for this Family no matter who is in charge. As was stated before it is the quality of the pilots not the quantity of our squad. And thats not all. We look for pilots that dont quit a game when out numbered. Pilots with great ingame personalities and flys with self discipline and honor. That is what we want in this Family. Very easy going, and a great sense of humor is also a plus! Being very active ingame as well as on the forum helps alot. But is not mandatory! Even if you drop by once aweek and say hi works. I hope this kinda sheds a little bit of light for you all.

Sup yo, Squad ( TEAM ), I'm gonna put my 3 cents in, When I joined I was in game with Mr Vonkopp and lol I was asking him the questions about joining a Team, my primary question was do you guys help each other I've never been much of a Team player and not because I didn't want to but because I always wound up holding up on my own lone wolf style. Von may be the recruiter but it's up to us the Team to pull together and report what we see if something don't feel right in our gut. I've been through some waked out ordeals in my life so I've become a expert at take the cotton out of your ears and put in your mouth, because if your mouth is running then your eyes n ears have no idea what's going on nor can they comprehend, so in game I watch and read what others do and if I see nonsense well I tap it out on screen even if it hurts my chance of winning or making a Friend. If I see somebody being mentioned or hear of it well I'll PM Von IF I think it's important and not petty. If we're a Team let's act as such if not no reason being here. And you all of heard of two dollar bills well 1 of my cents was a two cent piece and I want my change. Later, Life goes on we can't change others only ourselves and hope the others see and follow. Last night i jumped into a game, I couldnt beleive my eyes. LEGEND of KANE, was in the game, i asked if it was really him. he informed me that a friend was playing for him, he said that he was almost blind now, and getting worse. It was sad to hear this, but he seemed in good spirits. I hope we hear from him again. I have heard many great stories about the LEGEND...

It's with heavy heart that I hereby announce that I am going to step away from the game for a while.

I've been playing for over a year now and have made it to #86 in game rank. It's been a great ride but it has consumed too much of my attention to the detriment of many other responsibilities. I am not gone for good, not by a long shot, but I need to play much less or or I will need to stop all together.

Family and work need to come first and I'm ashamed to say that there have been too many times when that has not been the case. I will be back to check in on squad wars and other game developments and I will play anytime Cat of doom or Dragon Hunter say they want to fly with me. I'm sure that I'll play a game here and there but not nearly as much as I have been lately. I'll be going up a couple times a week instead of a couple of times a day.

I'll check in at the acehole occasionally too as I can do that while on the road. Thanks to all of you in this virtual family! You all make it so much fun and I feel that I will be missing out by not checking in every day. I know that you will all understand that real family comes first.

McFate I know exactly where your coming from. The 2 1/2 months I took off did me a lot of good. I encourage everyone to take a break now and then, everyone will still be here in one way or another.

Misfits, friends, and fellow dogfighters, I need your help. As many of my Misfits brothers know my wife and I are working on adding to our little family. God, however, has decided we will need to truly earn such a blessing, as we suffer from issues that make it very difficult. I'm not one to ask for prayers, as my trivial issues are nothing compared to many others who are much, much worse off than myself, but please, think of us and give us a prayer in the next few days. The struggles we are facing are taking a toll and we could use your love and thoughts. Many of you are as close as family as far as I'm concerned, and it would be much appreciated.

Having just taken four months without a single game, i can say other areas of my life have gotten better attention and i feel rejuivenated and ready to put up with more df crap like stupid new tanks and window phantoms.

It really does take too much play to stay in the top 100. I slid 23 spots back during my break and my wonderful Misfit home didnt go anywhere.

We will be missing you and drinking to your health at the Ace Hole.

A player started dumping during a long game. So i did too, schooled the reds on WhoseThisGuy with no bomb, then declared i would sneek the final bomb in the back door.

Which i did! Final msg: "the dumpers always lose. GG!"

Also noteworthy: i finally killed a hangar with the mother pheasant feather plucking new tank.

I understand where you are coming from..........But I still don't like it, I hope McCat or VonDragon will be filling in for you. I will let you know when squad wars happen, we will need the McTwist.

WAIT A MINUTE NOW...WHAT?!?!? Another officer down and out?? I've read about a similar situation before, it was called The Fall of the Roman Empire, I believe It's all about "moderation" folks... Look at me, I am only on for maybe an hour a day (not by choice, kid needs me a lot lol). Then again, that would explain why I keep sliding down in rank, but I really don't care about rank, just enjoy seeing and talking to you fine folks and other squadron members in the sky

Which brings me to recruiting process. Yes, it seems the Misfits are being flooded to the gills with pilots and I agree that we need to batting down the hatches on who we let in. After all, they brought me in and probably now wished that I joined MOM when I was being courted by both I mean, you can thank Pistol Pete for offering me dinner and a movie (Frank B only offered coupons for Depends) , but does anybody know what goes through that mind of his?? Maybe not a good recruiter HAHAHA. Then, Bware and Mad Rabbit encouraged me further, but I never had a threesome before , but they assured me that wasn't going to happen *whew*.

When I was finally able to logon onto Forum and join, it has been one of the best experiences Ive had, getting to know people are cut from the same mold.

So, in the end, it is okay to step back and smell the roses...as long as you come back to Misfit Island. It will always be here, unless it sinks like Atlantis Well balanced life folks...I get to enjoy both of them...prob cause im old enuff to to do both and not let one consume the other

Hi everyone sorry I haven't posted that much. I just don't get it I've been playing for a couple months and can't get out of the #106 spot. I noticed I lost a spot in the squadron rank from 13 to 14 so I decided to check and Mayday took my spot. and I look at the stats and my stats are better than his. I'm still at #106. And mayday is #102.i just don't get it. I keep flying and flying and flying and I'm not getting nowhere I should be in top 100 by now.

Snake don't pay attention to the players stats! It all comes down to how Many points you have..
For example zep missions! You have probably played less of them!

Yes very true I have not played bring down the zeppelin missions at all . maybe I should start playing more Zeppelin missions. Watch out Zeppelin. Snake is coming for you

The weird thing is. I never run across bring down the Zeppelin missions anymore. ever since I became MORAF. I think the Zeppelin is scared of snakes.

I understand the countless hours that this game and forum seem to consume. So much so, that I too am guilty of losing myself within the forum, the game and all the garbage that sometimes arises. It reached it's head with me after that long drawn out incident with gog. I allowed myself to get drawn into the pointless exchanges and spent more time waiting for responses than attending other more important things in life.

Thus being the reason as to why I don't post as much as I used to. In the end I have pulled back from the forum issues that go round and round with no clear ending. Instead I continue to enjoy the time with my family, step away from the game so I'm not burning myself out and stay current with the issues here on our thread.

Enjoy your family bud, were going to be here for quite some time and continue to move in the same direction that we started. I always enjoy your thought's and will miss reading them, always a pleasure playing with you and will keep an eye out hoping to catch a quick glance of the McTwisty.

Snake don't pay attention to the players stats! It all comes down to how Many points you have..
For example zep missions! You have probably played less of them!

3 stats matter for Global ranking: total kills, total hangars and total games won. Points also, but equal points means other 3 stats decide on ranking.

Well finally found my way to the ace hole... man u guys picked a place out in the middle of no where but now after all that looking and search in there's nobody to let me in
