Thanks for the kind words Viper, Dire, & BlackWolf sirs. To tell you the truth, I don't think I'm as bad as I sound either but new kid on the block and all.....lol. But now let me continue my introduction...

..so I've told a little about the DF me so why not a brief real world me. At present I'm a full time Aquaculturist of Ornamental Fish, which is a fancy title for fish farmer and I go to school full time also. I'm a veteran. And I live outside Sacramento, California. Ok so that's about it for me on the outside...

..back to the DF me. Without going into details let me ease a few minds about why I'm here. I flew GI wing 3 but it was disbanded so I discussed things with my GI commander (Horriblebreast), and my wolf brother Blackwolf and here I am. No burnt bridges. No scandal. Plain and simple. But I'm here now...wolf to the core. So if anyone wants to hunt and you see me around just give a howl & the hunt shall begin.

I had the opportunity to fly with Larry G. this morning and was able to provide some flying tips before he had to leave. We did a follow the leader type thing as we were the only two in the game at that time. That was a lot of fun and reminded me of the old days prior to the update when we would select the server and team and fly as a squad playing tag and stuff like that.

I like to share, regardless of what Mrs. Viper may tell you.

Dire you still have the Combat Flight Manual, correct? Most of what I do is in there. Not the greatest but the maneuvers serve me well even after the update.

Yep, I still have it. With the images and updates you had added. I've greatly improved my flying with that manual.

With new weather conditions and night/day we could add to it.

Im not sure the strategy changes at all with the night. People seem just as visible regardless of time of day..... or is that just me?

At night, the planes blend in with the sky and I have trouble aiming. I have resorted to aiming in the middle below the reds name and hoping.

I have trouble at night as well. Funny, because driving at night is the same,lol.
I wouldnt mind having a copy of that manual. Not sure if I ever got it. Would it be advantageous to start a thread on it?

Dire and I are discussing that very thing via PM now. Will have an answer on distribution in the next day or so.

Blind you have certainly demonstrated the loyalty to have earned a peek at the tactics manual. We (Dire and I) just need to figure the logistics of distribution.

I feel it is about time to get the manual to our long standing Air Marshals at the very least. In the meantime I will review what we have for relevance since the strategies were written with squad wars in mind.

I'd love to see some tips. I feel like there are some things I'm totally missing, like that ninja mind-eff hill crest thing some folks do, or how to tank. Even if things are released in tiers, with the really juicy stuff saved for the most loyal. Zup should open up squad training zones for us lol

I'm in agreement with Viper, as we have tactics that we do not want to share with all. I would recommend the GI page as they are allies and opened their tactics to all in WP.

Oh, and this night/rain thing is totally screwing with my mojo. Totally can't see anything until the last moment.

And for those of you who don't know the GI's have a website which is open to all Wolf Pack. You will have to search the GI thread to find the link, or PM KK or HB who would happily provide it to you. I haven't quite decided if that is the best way to share the flight manual or not due to its size. Maybe we could host it somewhere and have a link to it? See the above statement about me being an internet tard and know that I wouldn't be able to do that, but one of us is likely smart enough.

Just so everyone knows I had to kick a player this morning. That is not something I like to do but when we get enough complaints action has to be taken. We have standards that have to be met in order to maintain our squadron reputation and credibility. If our pilots don't meet those standards they simply cannot represent us in WC or games.

I have a low tolerance for folks who use foul language or call people names in game. Say what you want out loud, but when you take the time to type it that is a whole different matter.

Booting someone isn't something I take lightly which is why I felt the need to explain a little. Please remind our newer players and the folks who aren't on the forum if you see them behaving poorly in the game or on WC.

Concerning the manual and the Mic chat and all;
I'm in the process of trying to come up with a new site of sorts where both of those would be possible. I'm not sure I want an actual website(too much work), rather, some sort of interface. I myself use several Cloud storage areas where I have one designated for WP and my art. I can "host" the manual there, and anyone that sends me a request would be granted access with a "guest" password. There, I can make it a private or copyable document. So, either let them read it and leave, or copy it to save themselves. I can post a link to the cloud doc. Within the mini-site where the voice chat window would appear. Like I said, I'm working out some details and what would work best, and wanted to know if anyone else has ideas.
