There to tell us where the plane is anyway, it's there to show the name of the person. Plus, the rank mark is still there and possibly a squadron name.

Until they get the crossed swords then there almost impossible to see or tell how far away they are.

I don't really care when they are flying. It's when they are tanks or soldiers. All they have to do is hide next to a building or a tree and they are practically invisible when they are in your view screen (triangle shows up when they are not in view).

Notice that nonames are not in squads. A squad name would make them much more visible as tanks.

It's a small advantage, employed by small people.

No names are like everybody else. You just need to know where to shoot.(Try shooting at close range.Remember to attack from behind.)

definitely a good suggestion, getting the plane against its opposite color.

I agree and don't like no names. I do target them when I'm in a game against them. I also like Manfred's idea to leave the game when they are on the same team, no need to give them the benefit of your skills.

It seems like a lot of people are kinda saying the same thing here; but here’s my take:

Invo’s think that if you don’t take advantage of every tactical and strategic avenue made available to you, you’re a fool. I truly, truly understand this thinking but I also equate it to the mentality of a con-artist or used car salesman that has no problem selling a lemon car to anyone that they make believe their lies. Basically a sociopath (if you don’t know what this means please look it up before and if you comment). Also, if you fall into this category, please don’t take offense to my interpretation; but if the shoe fits, just wear it. For the most part, I don’t think inviso’s are cowards or scared, I just think they don’t care and they just want to rack up points off shooting noobs down; so I don’t care either. I like to look at it as a training moment each time I see one. What I mean, is that it takes a trained eye to get a bead on these guys; they’ve actually improved my targeting capability to point where I once shot down an enemy plane at 1000 yards in high wind; only 8 or 10 people in the world could have made that shot. Ok, I just ripped off Martin Riggs from Lethal Weapon; but could not help myself. My point was that I can now shoot down planes at longer distances because of those wonderful invo’s. As much of a pain in the butt, they actually serve a purpose; actually two purposes now that I think about it: 1) I get to feel the joy of unleashing my utterly-humiliating-Adam Sandler-like-hahahahahah-laugh each time I see one go down; and they help me get better.

So what can I say here but thanks? And to that I say, “Thank you.” Thank you Inviso’s, you actually help me more than you’re annoying.

Those invisibles aren't really a problem to me, mostly due to the fact that I almost never shoot from long distance head-on. I like to shoot up close, and in close quarters, a no-name isn't a problem. I also look at the map VERY frequently, so if there are enemies close enough to shoot at me, I'll know.

The only problem I can think of is that when a player is in a tank, their rank doesn't show. That means tanking no-names are almost completely invisible to the HUD. The only way you could tell is if you look on the map, and rely on your naked eyes.

Oh, the blessing of good eyes...at my advanced years finding and downing a regular player is hard enuf. When they are one, two, or three dots (etc.) and they fly the light color planes they may as well be invisible....well, thats only if theres a lot of reds to confuse the map. I wouldn't be dumb enuf to play poker with a known cheater, and Im inclined to treat these low lifes the same way. Theres not enuf of them to drive me out of the game totally since I can just quit and go into another game. have rarely found them in several games at once, so as long as that works Ill just drop out when I see they are in game.

Salento I realize that Tony's new name may arise an issue for you, but this topic is about no names. With a name like Tony's, at least you have something to judge by. Like oneball. His name is spread a fair distance apart in the middle, yet sometimes he is being blown to peices more often than me(no offense, I think oneball is a magnificent player and deserves all the respects of the dogfights players  ) with a no name, you might as well point at a random spot and shoot. The only thing to really go by is the map. What Im trying to say is that names like oneballs and tonys are very easily accustomed to. If you still have trouble shooting him down, just trace his bullets straight to his plane. Hes literally sending you a message like, "HERE I AM!!!!" this is helpful in any hard cases. The only problem is that you don't want to get in FRONT of the bullets, you want to shoot at their base. Anyways, I'm becoming fairly annoying.
P.S. had a wonderful dogfights game with MANY high ranked players. Somehow I cant recall any of their names  I THINK dent was their....anyways, gt, whoever was their. Had tons of fun. :)

Dont worry, i now how to aim and i not care about if some won have a name or not.
Only good to have a name is to now who i just did killd.
